Le premier campus a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert \u00e0 Kigali en 2013, suivi en 2015 par un second campus \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du camp de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s de Kiziba \u00e0 l\u2019ouest du Rwanda. Les \u00e9tudiants suivent un mod\u00e8le \u00ab&nbsp;mixte&nbsp;\u00bb qui associe un enseignement en ligne par le programme de SNHU \u00e0 des instructions et un soutien en face \u00e0 face assur\u00e9s par Kepler<span><span>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><span>Pour des \u00e9tudiants r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s comme nous (qui sommes dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s de SNHU du programme Kepler de Kiziba), le fait d\u2019aller \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 n\u2019est pas seulement une voie vers l\u2019espoir et la dignit\u00e9&nbsp;; cela peut aussi avoir un impact positif pour nos communaut\u00e9s. Lorsque quelqu\u2019un obtient un emploi, cette personne aide sa famille et d\u2019autres individus \u00e0 \u00eatre autonomes \u00e0 leur tour. Gr\u00e2ce aux avanc\u00e9es technologiques actuelles les agences humanitaires sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 une opportunit\u00e9 immense de contribuer \u00e0 \u00e9tendre l\u2019acc\u00e8s des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation. Sur la base de notre exp\u00e9rience du programme Kepler\/SNHU du Rwanda nous offrons les recommandations suivantes&nbsp;:&nbsp; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><strong><span lang=\"FR\"><span>Faire en sorte de rendre l\u2019\u00e9ducation sup\u00e9rieure plus inclusive&nbsp;: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"FR\"><span>les programmes doivent s\u2019engager r\u00e9solument \u00e0 garantir l\u2019acc\u00e8s des femmes et des personnes vuln\u00e9rables au sein des communaut\u00e9s r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es comme des communaut\u00e9s h\u00f4tes. Par exemple, dans le campus de Kiziba un programme de leadership destin\u00e9 aux femmes propose des classes pr\u00e9paratoires pour soutenir les candidates \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leurs comp\u00e9tences et les encourager \u00e0 s\u2019inscrire \u00e0 des programmes dipl\u00f4mants. Des interventions de ce type et une approche fond\u00e9e sur l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 des admissions ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 obtenir une parit\u00e9 50\/50 entre les \u00e9tudiants des deux sexes sur les deux campus. Les programmes d\u2019apprentissage connect\u00e9 donnent la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019une plus grande inclusivit\u00e9 que la plupart des programmes de bourses traditionnels&nbsp;: seulement 31&nbsp;% des b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de bourses du programme DAFI du HCR en 2017, par exemple, \u00e9taient des femmes<a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\"><span lang=\"FR\"><span><span>[1]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><strong><span lang=\"FR\"><span>Proposer des dipl\u00f4mes agr\u00e9\u00e9s&nbsp;: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"FR\"><span>les \u00e9tudiants qui terminent avec succ\u00e8s le programme Kepler\/SNHU obtiennent un dipl\u00f4me de premier degr\u00e9 d\u00fbment agr\u00e9\u00e9 par les \u00c9tats-Unis. La certification par les \u00c9tats-Unis signifie la reconnaissance du dipl\u00f4me dans de nombreux pays et permet aux \u00e9tudiants de poursuivre leur \u00e9ducation sup\u00e9rieure. Si les programmes ne d\u00e9bouchent pas sur des dipl\u00f4mes, il est difficile qu\u2019ils soient concurrentiels sur le march\u00e9 local comme sur le march\u00e9 mondial. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><strong><span lang=\"FR\"><span>Prendre en consid\u00e9ration les perspectives d\u2019emploi&nbsp;: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"FR\"><span>le programme se concentre sur des comp\u00e9tences visant la pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 l\u2019emploi, et en particulier le d\u00e9veloppement de comp\u00e9tences dans l\u2019utilisation de logiciels courants et d\u2019outils professionnels en ligne. Dans le cadre du programme de Kiziba, les \u00e9tudiants doivent faire des stages \u2013 soit en entreprises au Rwanda ou \u00e0 distance au sein d\u2019entreprises internationales \u2013 afin d\u2019obtenir une exp\u00e9rience et des comp\u00e9tences professionnelles concr\u00e8tes. Ils acqui\u00e8rent ainsi \u00e9galement des comp\u00e9tences professionnelles sp\u00e9cifiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 la communication, le leadership et le travail en \u00e9quipes. Une \u00e9quipe du d\u00e9partement carri\u00e8res \u00e0 Kepler s\u2019efforce d\u2019\u00e9tablir des relations avec des employeurs locaux et aident les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 poster et \u00e0 trouver des postes \u00e0 pourvoir. &nbsp;En cons\u00e9quence, 90&nbsp;% des \u00e9tudiants trouvent un emploi \u00e0 temps plein dans les six mois qui suivent l\u2019obtention de leur dipl\u00f4me. Bien \u00e9videmment, l\u2019emploi des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s est une proposition beaucoup plus viable dans un pays comme le Rwanda \u2013 o\u00f9 les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s jouissent de la libert\u00e9 de mouvement et du droit de travailler dans le secteur officiel \u2013 que dans d\u2019autres.
